This part makes it possible to select the model of document to be used (drwdot) as well as the number and the positioning of the views created for the first page and the following pages. It is imperative to envisage to define views in the 2 pages because all the pages, except the first, are copies of the second page.

By clicking on the icon , it is possible to use a model personalized to take into account. This way can point on a reader network and is memorized if one clicks again on this icon of research. The rectangle of gray color corresponds to the definite zone (right-angled) in the sheet format of the model.

Then it is necessary to define groups of labels in which the views will be created.

  • Page 1 :

We will define 2 groups, the first group consists of only one puts and second consists of 9 boxes (3 columns X 3 lines).

To click on the button  then to move the cursor of the mouse to select the number of boxes, to slacken the mouse on the desired number. Information bubble indicates the combination and the boxes are coloured.

   -->

It is possible to simply move the group with the mouse  in order to position it within the framework.

To remove a group, to select it (change of color) then to click on the button .

To remove one or more boxes it is enough to press on the key “Ctrl“keyboard before clicking on the boxes, then to click on the button . You can use this functionality if you want to optimize the filling of the format by excluding a zone occupied by the presence from a title block. Example of a A3 format with a title block.

Numbers appear:

    • The numbers in blue indicate the positioning of the group compared to the edge of the sheet, this value can be negative if one positions the group apart from the framework.
    • The numbers in red indicate dimensions of the label. The redimensioning of this one can be done while drawing on the handles (corners) from the blue rectangle.
    • The number located inside indicates the number of the view which will be created. This number corresponds to the first line of the nomenclature IF the option  is not checked.

To click on the button  in order to define a new group of labels on this page 1.

   -->

The selected group is materialized by the color dark blue. The redimensioning of the whole of the labels of this group can be carried out by stretching the corner of one of the labels.

''Horizontal variation'':  while playing on the ''+'' or the ''-'' it is possible to increase or decrease the horizontal difference between the views.

''Vertical variation'':  while playing on the ''+'' or the ''-'' it is possible to increase or decrease the vertical difference between the views. Increase this variation if a large number of annotations must be displayed under the labels so that they do not overlap the contents of the views.

''Offset Annotation'':  while playing on the ''+'' or the ''-'' it is possible to increase or decrease minimum space between the bottom of the view and positioning of the annotation (see the lower example).

  • Following page :

Views should imperatively be positioned. For the following pages we will define only one group of 12 boxes (3 columns X 4 lines).

To proceed in the same way as for the following page “>1”.

To click on the button  in order to define a group of labels for all the following pages.

   -->

To move and position the group  so that it centered either compared to the framework defined in the model (drwdot) used.

To regulate the ''Horizontal variation'', ''Vertical variation'' and ''Offset Annotation''.

The annotations use the font face defined in the options of the model (drwdot) used.

Here impact of the change of the value of ''Offset Annotation“, a value '' 0” corresponds to position the top of the text of the annotation aligned with the bottom of the framework of the lowest view:

    • With an offset of 5 mm the annotations position inside the framework of the lowest view of each line .

In this generated line, the framework of the lowest view is that of the part “Support tubes” the annotations thus position all compared to this view. Here with the value of the offset to 5 mm the text is 5 mm with the top of the bottom of the framework.

    • With a negative offset of -5 mm the annotations position outside the framework of the lowest view of each line .

This time the annotations position very with 5mm below bottom of the framework of the view of the part “Support tubes”.

 But with a negative value it may be that annotations overlap the views of the following line.

In general, this offset will be regulated good once for all. The value is memorized and preserved at each launching the tool ''AssemblyBoard''.

These page layouts can be saved in order to re-use them in other drawings .
