This operation allows you to rename the name of a configuration and the description of the configuration. The name can be a fixed name or it can follow the name of the configuration or the name of the file associated with a prefix or a suffix.


 


Example Rename the configuration ''.Defect'' by ''Position 01'' of the browsed file.


 


You can use the wildcard character ''.*'' to rename all or part of the configurations.

Examples :

  • ''*'' will take into account all configurations.
  • ''Name of the configuration to be renamed'' ''start*'' - ''New name'' ''BEGIN*'' --> all configurations will be renamed by replacing the beginning of the name start by BEGIN.
  • ''Name of the configuration to be renamed'' ''*machined'' - ''New name'' ''*PLANT--> all configurations will be renamed by replacing the end of the name machined by PLANT.
  • ''Name of the configuration to be renamed'' ''*11*'' - ''New name'' ''*22*'' --> all configurations will be renamed by replacing in the name 11 by 22.


You can use the following instructions:

<FileName>to display the document name.

Property nameto display a document property value (if the property name contains a space, use %20% to replace the space).

<Configuration>to display the name of the current active configuration.

<Date>to display the date.

<Time>to display the time.


CASE SENSITIVE


  • In general the description of a configuration takes the name of the configuration. By choosing from the drop-down menu, it is also possible to Rename'' or ''Do not rename'', the description of the configuration.
