The cutout options allow you to choose the sketch block that contains the cutout shape.

This shape can be selected from the drop-down list and blocks can be created and customized.

This list is provided as an example. By selecting ''Otheryou can select a sketch block personalized.

The sketch block is then inserted at the ends of the bend lines. This block is positioned using :

       #NOM?

       #NOM?

If fold lines are collinear there are two possibilities for processing.

  • A notch at each end of the lines:

Here the two selected lines are totally collinear, so four notches are made. The result is as follows:

  • A notch outside the lines:

Here the two selected lines are totally collinear, two notches are made.

  • In parallel with the 2 options above, the purpose of checking the option ''Do not generate the removal of material'' is to have a marking at the end of the folds, materialized only by the sketch of the selected block (no removal of material from the selected block).

If, by chance, a sketch block is positioned inside the sheet side, a message appears to warn that the cut will not be made at this point. This case can be encountered if the bend line does not reach the edge of the sheet, the shape is not large enough and therefore does not extend beyond the sheet.

The user can then bring the changes appropriate.

In some cases, the '' parameterMerge faces'', in the function ''Unfolded state'', can be deselected. A message appears indicating that MarkFoldLines will activate this option.

If you click on ''.OK'' the option ''Merge facesThe tool will change the shape and the cut-outs will be made on the sheet metal body.

If you click on ''.Cancel'' the option ''Merge facesThe tool does not change the cut-outs in the sheet metal body. The tool then processes the next sheet metal body.
