By clicking on this icon, we can specify the types of SOLIDWORKS documents to be proposed for selection. We can also ask to process only files that meet certain criteria such as :

  • Files with a property equal to or different from a certain value.
  • Files created since a given date.
  • Toolbox files.
  • Etc...

The following dialog box appears:


 

Type of documents to be processed   - check the file types that the "Add documents" function will propose.

Filters - In this part of the dialog box you can check some selection filters:

  • Sort on the "IsFastener" property if it exists. The value can be 0 or 1.

 

  • Sorting on documents from the Toolbox :

 

  • Sorting according to the presence or not of a SOLIDWORKS property in the document, the status of this property can be specified:

 

Clicking on this icon takes you directly to the "Options Properties". in order to retrieve the properties of the active document, of the active configuration or of a particular configuration:

 

  • The sorting can also be done according to the date of the last record of the file. It can be "Equal", "Lower" or "Higher" than a specific date:

 

  • Sorting can also be done on a part of the SOLIDWORKS document name, taking into account the presence or absence of a specific character string:

 

  • Sorting can also be done according to the state of the PDM file, for example, processing files with a "VALID" state:

 

  • Treatment may include - Do not take into account read-only files. If this option is checked a message will appear:
