Visiativ myCADtools

Problem:

Since the version  myCADtools 2020 SP1The actions of some tools have been grouped in a sub-menu  "myCADtools"   when right-clicking on a SOLIDWORKS file in Windows Explorer.

For example on a selection of one or more files you can :

- Rename with ProjectExplorer.

- Open with WereUsed, myCADviewer or Dependencies.

It is possible that the myCADtools context menu does not appear.

Solution:

Re-register  sldshellutils14u   as Admin and re-assign the SOLIDWORKS document extension to  SOLIDWORKS Launcher.exe.

No need to panic! Here is the solution.

You have to re-immigrate the DLL "sldshellutils14u.dll" by running the command as administrator of the computer:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\SOLIDWORKS Shared\sldshellutils14u.dll

Then associate the file extension with  SOLIDWORKS Launcher.exe.
