The window shows a series of columns:

  • Major version with which the file was saved.
  • SOLIDWORKS version number, information that is not detailed in the ''About SOLIDWORKS ...'' window but that can be useful to support in case of a problem encountered with a particular file. The version number does not necessarily change between several service packs.
  • Enter the date of the service pack version. The date and the number of the day of the year are noted here (example 2012/196th day of the year).
  • The service Pack used, the ''Beta'' versions are also specified (B1, B2...). For several service packs can correspond to the same version number.
  • The date the file was saved with the corresponding version.
  • The name of the Windows author who made the last registration.
