What could be more burdensome than having to manually add properties related to color standards? ? Make it all automatic with myCADtools ColorChart.
This tool you allows you to apply colors to SOLIDWORKS entities (bodies, faces, functions, parts, assemblies, etc.) from standard color charts, while automatically creating the properties associated with the selected colors.
Once the entities have been selected, you can apply this appearance to the geometry either :
- Double-click on the color or color icon.
- Using drag & drop
By selecting this iconodo 
you can set certain parameters for the automatic creation of color properties.
As the message indicates, the properties can only be applied if the color is assigned to the Part or Assembly document.
Once you have set the properties, when you apply the color to your part or assembly, the properties are created :
