Visit shared settings of myCADtools will enable you to create parameter contexts and switch from one context to another quickly and easily, without having to manually modify the options in each tool. A settings context is a file containing all your myCADtools options. You can create as many as you like!

The idea is to share the same settings between all users in the design office. So, if a change is made to the settings, all users working on the same shared settings can instantly see the changes on their PCs, without having to do anything.

To centralize settings between several users, click on the button to browse to the desired shared settings folder.

The settings sharing option appears to the right of the location. You can uncheck it if you no longer wish to share settings. This will keep the settings local (disconnect) and they will no longer be synchronized.

- if a setting exists at the indicated location

All parameter contexts are then recovered. A local backup is also made so as not to lose what you had.

If there are no settings in the folder selected at the start, there will be no settings marked "Online".

To create a new shared setting, you must first create a  local settings.

Once this local setting has been configured as you wish, simply click on this button to send it to the shared folder.

The type column therefore becomes "Online" and the settings are now shared with everyone.

The column Active settings shows you which setting is currently in use, and also allows you to switch to another setting.

The active setting is the one that is checked. .

To activate another setting, click on your context.
