During archiving, if the value of the variable controlled by the SerialNumber is empty, then the tool will always create the value of the SerialNumber.

If the option:Recalculate the value of the SerialNumber at each archiving session. is checked, then the SerialNumber will recalculate a value at each archiving (without taking a new number) if a counter has been defined in the value.

The calculation of the SerialNumber is done when the file has been modified and archived (modification of a variable value for example).

The button Increment will allow you to take a new counter reading.


 


The button Recalculate will recalculate the concatenation (useful if a variable value has changed).


Note : The counter value has been saved (present on the file card) so that there is no counter increment.
