This option allows you to export the layers contained in a SOLIDWORKS drawing sheet based on the status of the checkbox properties.

 

 

With this option, DocPublication will export only the layers defined in the mapping between the variable and the layer names  


- The variable corresponds to the variable defined for a checkbox in the data map

This variable must be set with the "Update all configurations" option

- The "Layers to Activate" field lets you choose which layers to export

You can enter multiple layer names by using the separator; and you can use the wildcard character *

For example, all layers that start with "English" => "English*"


For example:

My card has two checkboxes: English and French.


 


If the checkbox labeled "English" is checked, then all layers whose names begin with "English"

If no boxes are checked, no PDF will be generated.
