How to generate a 3D Viewer in HTML format of a 3D document during document validation?

The task tool DocPublication from myPDMtools allows to generate an HTML file of a 3D document that does not need any particular software to be viewed. DocPublication uses eDrawings to generate this type of file. DocPublication tasks can be executed automatically when the document status changes. Here are the steps to automate this process:

Create a new PDM task

Define a name for the task and select the myPDMtools add-on:

Select a machine to perform the job:

Then the DocPublication tool :

Check the eDrawings export in HTML format and validate the task:

The last step simply consists of executing the previously set task when the state of a document changes:
