In order to define a "Text/Excel" group, the text file must have a specific structure.

Let's take this example file, Materials.txt.


 

 

Each level is indicated by a tab, so here we have defined:

  • A level marked 'STEEL' or 'ALUMINUM '.
  • Sublevels labeled 'A60,' 'TS30,' or 'AU4G.'
  • Sublevels with various designations.

These are the levels that will be specified in the group (s) for DynamicList. You can therefore predefine a list of options based on the value of the previous menu.

No blank lines should be present. To be used in the data card, this file must belong to and be stored in the vault.
