The TaskActions tool in the myPDMtools suite allows you to apply a stamp to a PDF document. This stamp can be either text or an image.


 


Starting with myPDMtools 2022 SP1, it is possible to automatically set the image based on a variable.

To configure this, open a TaskActions task and the "Add Stamp" operation:


 



We will use an Image stamp and configure it to use the “Status” variable from the document being processed to select the stamp image. Simply click the + icon to access the myPDMtools field concatenation control:


 



In our example, the path will be as follows:


 


We'll place the stamp in the center and rotate it 45°.



After the task is approved, we will process a plan document whose Status variable is: InProgress (PDFs are automatically retrieved based on the paths specified in the task settings)


 


The stamp used will therefore be the one named InProgress


 


After the task is executed via a transition or manually by right-clicking, TaskActions will automatically apply the stamp.

For a document with the status " InProgress ":
