The TaskActions tool from the myPDMtools suite allows you to apply a stamp to a PDF document. This stamp can be a text or an image.


 


Since myPDMtools 2022 SP1, it is possible to set the image automatically based on a variable.

To set this up, open a TaskActions task and the add buffer operation:


 



We're going to use a buffer of type Image and we're going to set it up so that it uses the "Status" variable of the document to be processed to choose the image for the buffer. Simply use the + icon to access the myPDMtools field concatenation control:


 



The constructed path will be this one in our example:


 


We will apply the buffer to the center and we will assign a rotation of 45°.



After validation of the task, we will process a document plan whose variable Status is : InProgress (PDFs are automatically retrieved according to the paths entered in the task settings)


 


The buffer used will be the one named InProgress


 


After running the task via a transition or manually by right-clicking, TaskActions will apply the buffer automatically.

In the case of a document whose status is InProgress:
