There are several additional options to customize the data export :

Generation of export files

  • Generated file options

Multiple file disabled => A single file is generated containing all the items (documents) concerned by the export (idem for BOM links).

Multiple file enabled => A file is generated for each Article (document) concerned by the export (same for BOM links).

(See the corresponding example)

In first-level BOM, a file is generated for the head assembly and one for each sub-assembly.

In multi-level BOM, an export will be generated for head assemblies only.

  • Incremental generation :

This option is used to increment the export files. If it is disabled, the export file is overwritten.

For this option to work optimally, you need to configure the item export file names to be independent of the items (example ART_|I#Date|, where |I#Date| is the current date).

This option is only available for XML and Generic CSV export. It is not compatible with the XSL transformation.

  • Export of header lines: (Option available for CSV export only)

This option allows you to initialize the export file with the list of attributes processed by PDM Gateway.

Export Options for BOMs (See example of single or multi-level export)

  • BOM Level 1: Exporting the first level of the BOM
  • Multi-level BOM: Exporting all BOM levels
  • Pieces only: Export only top-level items with cumulative quantities.

These options are only available for generic XML export.
