Variable export allows you to publish in Moovapps TechCenter the PDM Attribute values of documents.


  • The "Match variables" option allows you to create a name match between PDM attributes and Moovapps TechCenter properties:



If the document types are activated, you can define the correspondences by document type via the drop-down menu Class



  • The "All variables" option is used to publish all variables valued in the PDM data card.

In this case, the mapping is done directly with the PDM attribute name by removing all the characters that are forbidden by TechCenter.

For example: "DESIGNATION_1 "in PDM automatically becomes "designation1 " in TechCenter



  • Transform values into a list in TechCenter

 

This option converts a property value defined with a separator to a list in Moovapps TechCenter.


This PDM attribute value can be realized e.g. with DynamicList from myPDMtools.

In PDM Gateway, you have to define in PDM Gateway :

      • The separator
      • The list of TechCenter properties to be processed as a list


You have to define in TechCenter :

      • A list
      • Drop-down list" display
      • Multiple selection" selection







  • Transform values to dates in TechCenter

 

This option converts a PDM date property value to a date property value in Moovapps TechCenter.



In PDM Gateway, you have to define in PDM Gateway :

      • The date format in PDM
      • The list of TechCenter properties to be treated as a date

      • Type Date
