Depending on the type of BOM created, a The component board includes a view of the head assembly (optional) and a view for each of the components (parts or sub-assemblies) that compose it. Each view is associated with annotations from the view concerned and with the properties of the component displayed in this view.

The result is a SOLIDWORKS drawing composed of one or more sheets depending on the structure of the assembly and the number of components per sheet.

The use of SOLIDWORKS drawings allows :

• An associativity with the 3D model.
• To be able to modify interactively each of the created views (Scale, Orientation, Style, ....).
• Integrate naturally with PDM solutions.

The tool allows you to set up :

• The decomposition of the assembly structure by defining the method of component selection.
• The model creation and the page definition for the layout.
• The scales of the created views.
• The type of view (Style, Orientation, Scale, ....).
• Annotations of the extracted properties.
• L'Export and Import page layouts.
