To launch the creation of a project from a table of welded elements, you must use the icon ''.Import a SW table''.

Prerequisites A Drawing document, including a mechanical welding table, must be active.


  • Profile selection :


 


To recover the profiles in CuttingOptimizationYou must click in the selection window to activate it:


 


By default the selection window is ''.Activated''.


From a SOLIDWORKS drawing, select the mechanical welding table.


 


All the profiles of the welding table are inserted in the profile correspondence table of CuttingOptimization.

You have the possibility to delete the selection with the button ''.Deselect''.


  • Profile correspondence table :


 


The first column shows the profile names in the weldment table and the second column shows the profile names created in the profile database.


In order for the '' columnName in the CuttingOptimization databaseThe ''Description'' property of the profiles in SOLIDWORKS must correspond exactly to the value in the second column of the database (.csv) of the profiles created in CuttingOptimization.


If the names do not match, the column ''.Name in the CuttingOptimization databaseThe "Profile" field can be empty or partially filled. In this case you can manually select a profile in the database  CuttingOptimization.


 


Click on to validate the table and create the projects.


  • Project :


The project is created and filled in automatically.


 


It is possible to modify each marker by editing the project elements, as seen in the chapter ''Creation of a new project.

You can now edit the report of each project.

If there is a match between the items listed in the SOLIDWORKS table and the base used in CuttingOptimization then the component row will be highlighted in red if you check it.
