The use of the tool EdgeAnnotations is only done in the context of the layouts.

The annotations are placed on tops.

There are 2 possible outcomes:

• Edge annotation - The annotation is attached to a geometric vertex of the 3D model.
• General Annotation - General annotations are not attached to an entity but are positioned where you click. This is usually a location near the title block.

First of all you need to :

• Indicate size to set the numerical Max/Min values.
• Select the Type of annotation.
• Define the font if the annotation does not use the document font.
• Define whether the annotation should be generated in a predefined layer.
