This tool allows you to find your SOLIDWORKS documents through :

  • From a simple interface by specifying the name or part of the name, the type of document, a property value, etc...


 


  • Or through a more complete interface that will allow all combinations of document selection criteria (size, mass, configuration, file type, etc.).


 


The third tab of analysis of the base, will allow to highlight possible problems in your SOLIDWORKS document base:



  • Orphan parts (parts that are not used anywhere (without drawing or parent assembly).
  • Lost dependencies (some documents may have been moved or deleted, some document dependencies point to a missing file).
  • Duplicate document. In the SOLIDWORKS design methodology it is dangerous to use identical names for different documents, this feature highlights these documents.
  • List all drawings, from your research file(s), that reference [N] 3D documents.
