• Alignment :

The different views can be aligned in a certain way, check the option you want.

Example:

    • Force views exported horizontally by aligning the X axis of the plane to the longest developed edge.
    • Force views exported vertically by aligning the Y axis of the plane to the longest developed edge.

  • Geometry :

In the export, it is possible to choose :

    • Apply a specific color to the geometry.
    • Apply the generated geometry to a particular layer of the SOLIDWORKS drawing.
    • In a SOLIDWORKS drawing when inserting a view of the sheet metal body in the bent state, SOLIDWORKS creates a "SM-FLAT-PATTERN" configuration. If this configuration already exists, it is possible to ask the tool not to recreate a flattening and to recover this configuration. The generation time is then faster because the flattening is not recalculated. You can also ask it to recreate the "SM-FLAT-PATTERN" configuration or use the one already present in the 3D file (necessary when working in PDM and without the myPDMtools).
    • Export only the geometry, for example for laser cutting. When you want the bending lines, you can display or not the bending notes (bending angle, bending radius, bending direction).
