When launching SmartProperties on a document part, we find in ''SmartPropertiesShow the properties of :The name of the document on which the properties will be applied and on which configuration option.

The input mask is defined in the  setting   from  SmartProperties. By default, there is a different input mask for each type of document.


Apply properties to the part :

 


Apply properties to welded parts :

In the case of a welded or sheet metal component, we can with  SmartProperties   apply the properties on the welded parts.

To do this, simply select the item in the tree. This article is then added in the selection zone''.  Show the properties of :and the input mask for the welded parts appears.


  


Use the pushpin () in order to :

  • that  SmartProperties   remains displayed after applying the properties
  • to be able to modify the properties of several items of welded parts without restarting  SmartProperties   every time.

You can also select multiple weldment items by using the '' keyCtrl'' of the keyboard. We then find the list of items selected in the selection area ''.Show the properties of :''.

To select all items of welded parts at once, simply click in the tree on ''.List of welded parts''. In this case all articles go to the selection area ''.Show the properties of :''.


 


Enter the entry of the multi-selection of articles of welded parts in the field ''.General properties''.

Once this information is filled in, use the cross to close the utility.

To return to the properties of the part, simply select it with a right click in the tree or in the 3D graphics window, then ''Properties''.
