When launching SmartProperties on an assembly document, you will find in ''SmartPropertiesShow the properties of :The name of the document on which the properties will be applied and on which configuration option.

As for the part document, we can apply properties to the components of the assembly by clicking on the component in the tree.

You will be able to modify the properties:

  • Assembly components
    • Part and assembly

    • Multi-selection of components using the ''Ctrl'' key

  • Articles of welded parts
    • Single or multi-selection

The input mask is defined in the setting   of SmartProperties. By default, there is a different input mask for each type of document.

In this case, the bedbug () is useful to keep SmartProperties displayed after applying properties and to be able to modify the properties of several welded parts without restarting SmartProperties each time.

From the context of the assembly it is possible, by right-clicking on a component, to launch the SmartProperties tool directly from the icons of the context menu. The selection of the component (part or assembly) can be done either in the graphic area or in the PropertyManager.
