Once the entities have been selected, you can apply this appearance to the geometry either :

  • By double-clicking on the color or color icon in the lower part of the TaskManager.
  • In the lower part of the TaskManager, click on the color or color icon and then on the "Add appearance .

It is possible to reproduce the drag-and-drop operation of SOLIDWORKS :

    • Select the color or color icon in the lower part of the TaskManager, then drag and drop the appearance onto a function or element directly in the design tree.
    • In the lower part of TaskManager, select the color or color icon, then drag and drop the appearance onto a geometry in the active document:
      • Or it can be applied according to the pre-selected filter.
      • Either use the SOLIDWORKS popup menu to filter the geometry .
    • In the lower part of the TaskManager, select the color or color icon by combining the "Alt + Drag/Drop" key with the appearance in the active document -> The SOLIDWORKS appearance editor is automatically opened in the PropertyManager.


 


If no geometry is selected during "Drag & Drop", the appearance applies:

  • To the whole room for active "Room" documents.
  • To all assembly for active "Assembly" documents.

A property can be created when applying a color to a part (see Options).
