In some business sectors, the notion of color is very important and must comply with very precise standards.

These colors, or appearances, all correspond to a very specific coding based on the combination of the three basic colors red (R), green (G), blue (B). Each code is expressed by a number between 0 and 255. The desired color is obtained by dosing each of the primary colors. Color charts are stored in "xml" format files. Once the myCADtools setup has been installed, these files are saved in the tool's installation folder. ColorChart.

If the files are in another directory, you can select it by clicking on the .

These files are editable and customizable by the user, and can be edited with a text editor such as "Notepad++".

The following information must be defined for each family and shade:

* The identifier or code.

* The name in three languages: French (fr), English (en), German (de).

* The RGB combination (e.g. 205,164,52).

Translations are not mandatory, in which case the French name is displayed.
