This operation allows you to automatically extract all or some of the properties of your SOLIDWORKS documents from a Windows folder.






  • File selection



You can select the folder(s) to be analyzed by clicking on the




  • File location 


We specify :

    • The Excel file template containing the result columns to be obtained. You can manually choose the location of your Excel template by clicking on the icon

    • Then the location of the result file



Extract all properties This option allows you to extract all the properties of your files in the selected folder(s). You no longer need to choose a customized Excel template, as all possible properties will be automatically created as columns in the Excel file.

Define the name of your columns, which will retrieve the full name of the file and the name of the configuration:





Choose the formats you wish to retrieve in your export:





  • Choice of configurations



Set the property recovery option.

You can retrieve :

- properties of a specific configuration

- document properties only

- document properties and all configurations
