The ''EntityProperties'' tool generates a ''MacroFeature''. It can be found in the FeatureManager. If part geometries change as a result of dimensional modifications, this MacroFeature recalculates the values and properties are updated automatically.


 


If the geometry changes significantly (creation or deletion of edges, entities, etc.), the selections made at the time of validation may not be up to date. It is still possible to edit the MacroFeature to :

  • Make changes to entity selections.
  • Modify property names.

In this case, old properties will not be removed from the part, but will have to be managed manually.

  • Modify calculation mode ''Measurement'' / ''Encompassing box''.


If you try to relaunch the EntityProperties tool, a message appears on the screen.
