Duplicate your project and manage your properties
With SOLIDWORKS' project duplication tool (Pack and go), it is not possible to manage the addition or deletion of properties.(s) on files.
With the ProjectManagerWhen duplicating, you can rename your files, define a file structure and create a new file. add/remove properties on your files.

Configure your property addition/removal rules in ProjectManager :
You can add properties based on conditions. For example, you can add a "Description" property with a different value depending on "whether it's a part or assembly file".
For property deletion, you can set a deletion rule on a defined property or you can delete all properties using the "*" character like this:
