By clicking on this icon, we can specify the SOLIDWORKS document types to be proposed for selection. We can also request that only files meeting certain criteria be processed, such as :

  • Files with a property equal to or different from a certain value.
  • Files created since a given date.
  • Toolbox files.
  • Etc...

The following dialog box appears:


 


Type of documents to be processed - check the file types that the "Add documents" function will suggest.

Filters - In this part of the dialog box, you can check certain selection filters:

  • Sort on "IsFastener" property if available. Value can be 0 or 1.

 

  • Sorting documents from the Toolbox :

 

  • Sorting according to the presence or absence of a SOLIDWORKS property in the document, the status of this property can be specified:

 

Clicking on this icon takes you directly to the "Options Properties to retrieve the properties of the active document, the active configuration or a specific configuration:

 

  • Sorting can also be performed according to the date of the file's last save. It can be "Equal", "Less than" or "Greater than" a specific date:

 

  • Sorting can also be performed on part of the SOLIDWORKS document name, taking into account the presence or absence of a specific character string:

 

  • Sorting can also be performed according to the status of the PDM file, e.g. process files with "VALID" status:

 

  • Treatment may include - Ignore read-only files. If this option is checked, a message will appear:

 


  • Treatment may include - Disregard deleted components in the active configuration.
  • Treatment may include - Do not include envelope components in the active configuration.
