Depending on the filters you have specified, by clicking on this icon you can add one or more documents to the selection.

Documents can be any type of SOLIDWORKS file: drawings, parts, assemblies, document templates etc...

Folders can be dragged and dropped into the window from Windows Explorer.

If a SOLIDWORKS document is open, you can add it to the .

Selecting an assembly with this icon automatically inserts all dependency drawings for this assembly (as well as the drawing for the selected assembly).

Two windows will appear, the first for selecting a part or assembly, the second for selecting the drawing search directory.

If read-only files are selected, the user is informed that some of the selected files are read-only and do not appear in the list, so will not be processed. This option can be disabled in Selection filters.
