• Alignment :

The different views can be aligned in a certain way, by checking the option you require.

Example:

    • Force views exported horizontally, aligning the plane's X axis with the longest developed edge.
    • Force views exported vertically, aligning the Y axis of the plane with the longest developed edge.

  • Geometry :

In export, you can choose :

    • Apply a specific color to the geometry.
    • Apply the generated geometry to a specific layer of the SOLIDWORKS drawing.
    • In a SOLIDWORKS drawing, when you insert a view of the sheet metal body in the folded state, SOLIDWORKS creates a "SM-FLAT-PATTERN" configuration. If this configuration already exists, it is possible to ask the tool not to recreate a flattening and to retrieve this configuration. Generation time is then faster, as the flattening is not recalculated. Alternatively, you can ask it to recreate the "SM-FLAT-PATTERN" configuration, or use the one already present in the 3D file (necessary when working in PDM and without myPDMtools).
    • Export geometry only, e.g. for laser cutting. When bending lines are required, you can choose whether or not to display bending notes (bend angle, bend radius, bend direction).
    • Display or hide thread representations
