The task ''Update files (UpdateVersion) automatically converts SOLIDWORKS documents to the latest version of SOLIDWORKS in hidden time. (See ''UpdateVersion'' section).

Once selected, a window opens to set up the task.

Once you have selected the files and/or directories to be processed (See file and directory selection) you get the following panel:


 


  • Task settings :

To open the task settings, click on .


 


This window allows you to set file options and general options before converting your files to the latest version of SOLIDWORKS (See the chapter ''UpdateVersion'').

Once you've made your settings, click on the "Save" button to save them.


  • Planning :

 


Once you have set the utility options and saved the settings, you can schedule the task (See Planning) and confirm by clicking on ''OK''.

The task is validated and appears in the list ''.Task to be processed''.
