Problem:

When uninstalling/reinstalling a version of SOLIDWORKS software, it may happen that a SOLIDWORKS "dll" file (swdocumentmgr.dll) is no longer "registered" for Windows.

Solution:

To solve this problem, close the SOLIDWORKS and myCADtools software and proceed as follows:

- open the CMD command prompt and run it, preferably as administrator

- first type "cd.." then enter and repeat this operation again

- Then type "regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Common Files\SOLIDWORKS Sharedswdocumentmgr.dll".

- press the "enter" key
