How do I use SmartProperties masks for the list of properties offered by myCADtools?
Some tools in the myCADtools suite allow you to select a property from a predefined list. BatchProperties. This list points to the "Properties.txt" file, which is set in the SOLIDWORKS general options.
If you use the SmartProperties to enter custom properties for your documents (Part, Assembly or Drawing) and you have defined fields to create or modify these properties, it is now possible to use them to create/use this list in myCADtools. This list can then be completed and the display order modified, either by requesting alphabetical order, or by moving the position of certain properties. This option can be found in the myCADpassport.
