This option allows you to generate a list of the links that differ between SOLIDWORKS and the PDM references.

If you check the "Show analysis window before applying the result" option, the following window will appear.


- Files: The first column displays assemblies or drawings along with their part numbers (Content Of tab).

- References: The second column displays the locations saved in the SOLIDWORKS file.

- Files found in with the same name: This last column displays the location of the SOLIDWORKS document in (the row is blank if the file is not found in the vault).

In this example, we can see, for instance, that the file *Corps2.sldprt* contained in the assembly *table.sldasm* is not referenced correctly.


 


In this window, you can right-click to copy the location:


 


The "Copy Reference" option will copy the file path—as it is stored in the SOLIDWORKS file—to the clipboard:

C:\Pre-Sales\SW\2015\20 - Weldments\Corps2.sldprt  


The "Copy Search Result " option will copy the file address found in to the clipboard:

D:\View \myPDMtools_2015\MCO\Body2


The "Copy" option will send the contents of the selected line to the clipboard:

Corps2.sldprt C:\Pre-Sales\SW\2015\20 - Weldments\Corps2.sldprt D:\View\myPDMtools_2015\MCO\Corps2.SLDPRT


The "Copy List" option will copy the entire contents of the window to the clipboard.


The "Go To" button opens the file's location.


These various copies and options make it easier to fill out the " Dependencies" section.
