Limitation:

- The format of the PDF file is not calculated automatically, it is defined by the paper format options.

- The black and white export manually processes all entities and explodes the blocks during export, this can affect the calculated properties.

- As indicated by the message, this option requires a license. DraftSight Professional installed on the workstation from version 2015 SP2 onwards.


When a file contains multiple sheets, you can specify how each sheet should be exported. This setting is configured using the Multiple Sheets Manager.


 


For this type of format DWG or DXFthe first sheet is usually called Model. By checking this option, it is possible to disregard it and not to export it. .


You can also export only the template sheet by selecting "Export Template Sheet Only"from the "Manage Multiple Sheets"drop-down menu.

Since the DocPublication tool relies on DraftSight Professional to generate the export, you must select the export format for DWG/DXF files from the drop-down menu.


 


  • Paper Size Defined by Variables


- Width/Height:


You can select the paper size using variables found in the data cards.


 


In this example, we use the variables "Width " and "Height." These variables are entered directly into the data tables of the DWG or DXF files.

This allows you to set different paper sizes for each page in the file.


 


- Name match:


You can select the paper size using a variable found in the data cards.

Select the variable you want to retrieve from the drop-down menu.

The button allows you to set the dimensions for each format.



If there is no indication in the variables, the default format user-defined will be used.


- Automatic:


It is possible to retrieve the paper size automatically. DocPublication searches the notes in DWG files to see if a size is specified and looks for a match in the "Paper Sizes" table.
