Type of conditions
The administrator can apply several types of conditions:
- Always: When the condition type is Always, all files dragged to DragToPDM will be added to the vault location defined in the rule.
- 'File type': When this condition type is selected, only the dragged batch files that have the extension defined in the rule will be added.
To add several extensions, simply separate them with the ,
Example:
- Properties of SOLIDWORKS': When this type of condition is selected, only files with a property that validates the type of equality defined by the administrator will be added.
Example:
Only files whose type property is different from Biblio will be added by DragToPDM.
The applicable conditions of equality are as follows:
By clicking on the 
it is possible to define the parameters for reading SOLIDWORKS properties:
By selecting this option, the rule will be executed on the properties of the Customize SOLIDWORKS files tab.
By selecting one of the two options below:
The properties will be read in the tab specific to the configuration defined in the options:
In the option: Read configuration-specific propertiesIf you want to specify the name of the configuration to be read, you can specify the name of the configuration to be read by using the wildcard character:
- 'Office Properties': When this type of condition is selected, only files with an office property that validates the type of equality defined by the administrator will be added.
In this example, only files with the Office property equal to Documentation will be added:
- 'Filename': When this type of condition is selected, only files whose name is equal or begins with a character string (using the * character) will be added:
If you want to select all documents that contain a character string, you can use a * character at the beginning and end of a character string, for example:
- 'File path': When this type of condition is selected, only files whose path is equal or begins with a character string (using the * character) will be added:
