However, rather than adding the variables manually and setting their values, it is possible to retrieve them from a document in the vault.

Once the file is selected, PDMProperties displays the number of variables retrieved:


 


And the value of each variable is also retrieved.


At this stage, some values may be:

  • Completed by clicking on the icon (see Field type).
  • Whether or not to take into account certain recovered variables ( or ).


If the "Free variables only"option is checked, only free variables will be retrieved.
