When the Force the same data card for each file or folder is checked in the options, this forces the data card to be displayed in PDMPropertiesCard regardless of the options set in PDM.


This mode of operation allows the user, for example, to display the data card of 3D SOLIDWORKS files for 2D SOLIDWORKS files:


 


This operating mode also allows the user to use the file/folder selection area, the user then finds all the functionalities of adding a document, see chapter File and directory selection.
