The Start action type is used to execute a hypertext link or an executable program.

To add a Start action, simply click on this icon

The interface then asks you to create either:


  • A link:

 


This link can be used to open a local or network folder.

To generate this link, you can either use a hard-coded location by clicking on button, or by entering the value via the to capture dynamic values using Concatenation of variables

For example, to obtain the link to the desired project, we could use the Project variable in the file being processed:



  • An executable:

 


This type is used to run a program.
