When transitioning file states, it is often necessary to add a buffer to the associated PDF files.



It also happens that a Released document must be changed back to the Modification state.


 


It's heavy to use SOLIDWORKS and DocPublication to add a buffer In modification.


With the operation StampPDF from TaskActions we apply the stamp directly to the PDF file.


 


To add a buffer, simply create a PDM task and use the tool myPDMtools TaskActions:



We will now add an operation StampPDF



All you have to do is set up a buffer that can use plain text associated with PDM variables or simply an image :


 


This option allows you to automatically retrieve the associated PDF files, simply by setting the path to the source file.
