Publish manages the connection to your SharePoint infrastructure using the modern OAuth2 connection.
You will then need to register the application in your Azure AD and generate a certificate that allows the application to authenticate with Azure.
Your company's Azure AD administrator will provide you with this information once the application has been registered.
The user will need to perform several steps to enable publishing to SharePoint:
- Registering the application in Azure AD
- Creating the certificate and sending it to Azure AD
- Install the certificate on the client computers that will run the Publish task
The certificate must also be installed on the computers running the TaskActions-Publish task; see the chapter: Installing the Certificate
