TaskActions lets you rename files using a variable value.


Just click on the icon.


 


A dialog box will then appear, allowing you to select the variable value that will be used to rename the file.


  


The variable used is that of the first configuration (Configuration @ for a SOLIDWORKS file).


The "If the name already exists, increment the filename" option allows you to increment the filename if a file with that name already exists in the current folder.

Example: If the file "tole.sldprt" already exists in the folder, the new name will be "tole-1.sldprt."


The "Rename" action can only be used once in a TaskActions task, but you can use multiple renaming conditions
