myPDMtools Tasks
Tasks are created using the SolidWorks PDM Professional Administration tool.
The myPDMtools tools for which a task can be created are:
To create a task from the PDM administration interface:
- Right-click "Tasks" and select "Add a new task":
In the task settings window:
- Enter the task name
- Select the myPDMtools add-on
- Specify the user who runs the task
Note: The timeout period must always be set to 0 for proper operation; otherwise, once the time has elapsed, the task will automatically be marked as an error without any log entries or messages in the task details.
