Configuration management
This form is used to define the configuration(s) concerned when exporting BOMs and PDM items.
- Configuration named :
Defining the name of the configuration to be taken into account in priority
If this configuration exists on the document, it is taken into account. If it doesn't exist, the properties linked to the file (not dependent on a configuration) are taken into account (as shown on PDM's "@" tab).
You can use the wildcard * in the name of the configuration, for example D*.
You can specify several configuration names with the separator; (the first one found will be exported)
If you use the wildcard * only in the name of the configuration, the first configuration after the @ is taken into account.
- Filtered configuration :
- The filter variable : Definition of the attribute used as a filter (including the value to be tested for export)
- Filter value : Definition of the filter value (value to determine whether or not to export the configuration)
In this case, the principle is that all configurations whose attribute The filter variable with the value Filter value are exported
- For the head assembly, if none of the configurations are concerned (the value Filter value is not found in any attribute The filter variable of all configurations), then no configuration is exported, there is an error notification (if enabled), and a trace is added to the Log file.
- For materials, if none of the configurations are affected (the value Filter value is not found in any attribute The filter variable of all configurations), then the material is exported with the @ configuration.
Except in the case where the option is checked:
⇒ This system of choice of the configuration(s) concerned can thus make it possible to export a single SOLIDWORKS document corresponding to several items in the ERP sense (example: SOLIDWORKS file representing a screw, and corresponding to several ERP items according to its size...).
You can use the wildcard character * in the value of the filtered configuration
- All configurations:
All assembly and item configurations will be exported.
