The following options allow you to define the list of items to be exported and in which configuration the items are exported

There are two options that define the list of items to be exported:

    • Export all materials related to the BOM:

All items exported in the bill of material file will be exported to the item file even if their status does not change.

The exported configuration will be the one used in the assembly.

    • Export only the items started from the task:

Items that change state or are selected when right-clicking are exported as an Item.

If the BOM components do not change their status, they will not be exported to the Material file.

In this case, the following configuration options are available:

      • Export each item in the named or filtered configuration: The configuration taken into account is the one defined above, if the configuration does not exist then the item is exported in the @ configuration.

Check the option Do not export the material if no configuration matches to not export the material if the configuration does not exist.

      • Export each item in the configuration referenced in the assembly: The configuration taken into account is the one defined in the SOLIDWORKS assembly. If more than one configuration in the header BOM is exported, then all item configurations in the assemblies will be exported.
      • Export each item in all configurations: All configurations will be exported.

"Retrieve the value in the referenced configuration or if empty the value in the @ configuration":

By checking this option, PDM Gateway retrieves the value of the variable on the @ configuration when the value of the variable is empty in the requested configuration.
