From the spreadsheet use the button SOLIDWORKS update when you modify numerical values and want to assign them to the 3D model.

In order to optimize processing times, only the modified variables are updated.

Note that :

  • If the Excel file is opened with an edited sketch, the 3D model is updated immediately.
  • If the Excel file is opened with all functions closed, the 3D model is only updated after a CTRL+Q.
  • If new variables have been created in Excel, they will be added to the SOLIDWORKS document.
