This version is compatible with the SOLIDWORKS 2016 and SOLIDWORKS 2017. Before installing this new setup you need to uninstall previous versions of SolidWatch 2016 (2014, 2012 ...).

EdgeAnnotations:

In technical drawings, the perfect geometric shape is shown without any deviation and generally without consideration of the edge conditions. However, for many reasons (e.g. function of a part, safety), a particular condition of the edges is required, e.g. outer edges without burrs, sharp edges or edges with limited burrs, and inner edges with connections.


EdgeAnnotations allows to insert, as annotation in a SOLIDWORKS drawing, the dimensioning of edges of undefined shape. The tool is based on the rules and symbolism of the ISO 13715 standard.

Modification of existing tools :


  • General :
      • BG 18868: The icon for the dimensioning group in the toolbar is identical to the one in SOLIDWORKS.

       

  • Anglage :
      • BG 19895: The function is not created at validation on SOLIDWORKS 2017.


  • Top view quotation :
      • BG 22141: Adding a reference crashes SOLIDWORKS in a particular case.

       

  • VideoCad Export :
      • BG 16774: Export VideoCad is unstable if the exported shot has never been saved.


  • Component board:
      •        BG 20047: On validation, the program remains locked on a view.
