The local location of the database is reserved for smaller structures, or if you're the only one with a CAD workstation. Or if you use FindDocuments exclusively to analyze the SOLIDWORKS document database (duplicate parts, orphan parts, lost dependencies).

This method should be avoided when there are multiple CAD workstations, to avoid redundant analyses.

In the example above, the database contains local folders and network locations. There is no scheduled periodicity, so the user will have to update the database manually. . The user is the master of file updates, and does not share the database with other users.

- When the database is updated, the tool retrieves the information that has been modified. A report shows the details of what has been analyzed.
