In '' modePoint or vertex selection'', the following filters can be used:

  • Summit of 3D geometries and 2D and 3D sketch entities.
  • 3D or 2D sketch point, circle center point.
  • Reference point.
  • Center of mass.
  • Circle center for 2D or 3D sketches and 3D geometry.
  • Arc center for 2D or 3D sketches and 3D geometry.
  • Center of 2D or 3D sketch ellipse and 3D geometry.
  • Arc center for 2D or 3D sketch ellipses and 3D geometry.
  • Intersection of the 2 tangents of a 2D or 3D sketch arc and 3D geometry, so this filter cannot be combined with the following filters.
    1. Arc center of 2D or 3D sketches and 3D geometry
    2. Arc center for 2D or 3D sketch ellipses and 3D geometry
  • Deactivate all filters.
  • Activate all filters.

Example of selections:

Selecting a circle center point

This selection contains the X,Y,Z coordinates of the selected point.

Circle center selection

This selection contains the X,Y,Z coordinates of the circle's center point as well as radius or diameter information (See Extraction options).

By default, the annotation points to the circle, but you can point to the center of the circle by checking the option before making your selection.

Select a circular arc using the tangent intersection filter

This selection contains the X,Y,Z coordinates of the point of intersection of the tangents of a circular arc.

If theis ticked, the intersection of the tangents is sketched, and the annotation points to the point of intersection.
