Cutout options let you choose the sketch block containing the cutout shape.

This shape can be selected from the drop-down list, and blocks can be created and customized.

This list is provided as an example. By selecting ''Otheryou can select a sketch block personalized.

The sketch block is then inserted at the ends of the bending lines. This block is positioned using :

       - its insertion point coincides with the end of the bending line.

       - Parallelism between the construction line contained in the block and the bending line.

If bend lines are collinear, there are two processing options.

  • A notch at each end of the lines:

Here, the two selected lines are totally collinear, so four notches are made. The result is as follows:

  • A notch outside the lines:

Here, the two selected lines are totally collinear, and two notches are made.

  • In addition to the 2 options above, the purpose of checking the "Do not generate material removal" option is to have a marking, at the end of the folds, materialized only by the sketch of the selected block (no material removal from the selected block)..

If, by chance, a sketch block is positioned inside the sheet blank, a message appears to warn that cutting will not be carried out at this point. This can happen if the bend line doesn't reach the edge of the blank, the shape isn't large enough and therefore doesn't extend beyond the sheet.

The user can then bring his or her own changes appropriate.

In some cases, the '' parameterMerging faces'', in the function ''Unfolded statecan be deselected. A message appears indicating that MarkFoldLines will activate this option.

If you click onOK'' the option ''Merging facesThe tool will be modified and the cut-outs will be made on the sheet metal body.

If you click onCancel'' the option ''Merging facesIf the '' is not modified, the cut-outs in the sheet metal body are not made. The tool then processes the next sheet-metal body.
